Amazing service!! I live 2,000 miles away. My daughter arrived in the Cleveland area a few days ago, for school, and needed twin bed rails. I emailed a number of stores in the area, and within minutes received a response from Dan Geller, the owner of Fish Furniture. He said he had what I needed, just a few dollars, and if my daughter came in, he would show her how to set it up. He said he and his wife were going to dinner that evening near the area where my daughter's apartment was located, and if I wanted, he and his wife would personally deliver the bed frame to her apartment. But my daughter went in, he showed her how to set it up, helped her load it into her little car, then showed her a map of the area and where she could find the other things she needed. She called me and was totally amazed at his kindness, and the kindness of his staff. Then, the truly wonderful part---she got to her apartment and locked her keys in her car. Dan was the only person I "knew" in Cleveland, and so I called him, and he told me exactly who to call and what to do. For an anxious father 2,000 miles away, how can I say "thank you" enough to a businessman who would do so much to assist on the basis of such a tiny sale. I wish I could publish this to the whole Cleveland area. People ought to be standing in line to patronize a business with such good people. Exceptional Service!!! We purchased a lift chair for my mom on a Saturday and realized by Sunday that we really couldn't wait until the scheduled delivery on Thursday. I called the store to request an earlier delivery and Dan Gellar, the owner, got on the phone to ask me when I needed it and to personally make sure it was delivered sooner. And sure enough, it showed up the exact time he said it would. We've purchased furniture from Fish Furniture for many years and will hopefully be purchasing from them for many more to come!
There is not one negative comment I can make about Dan and his company. The level of service, the quality of their products and even the delivery staff are just tremendous. Over the years, I have purchased couches and tables for my family room, my entire dining room set up as well as two bedroom sets from Fish. In fact, just today I had a brand new Tempurpedic mattress delivered to my house and I could not be happier. We all know that we can purchase the same products from many stores around, but what the other stores are missing is the customer service. I wouldn't shop from anyone else!
Great service. I purchased a Canadel table back in 2001 from Fish Furniture. Over the years the top has taken a beating and now the finish has begun to fail. I went back to the store in Mayfield to try to order another top from the manufacturer. I met the owner, Dan Geller and he could not have been more helpful. He said he could try to order the top, however, before we try that he hooked me up with a refinisher that all of the local stores use. The guy works out of his house and is fantastic to deal with. The table looks like new now and thanks to Dan, I saved alot of money over having to replace the top with a new one.
I bought a flexsteel recliner from Fish furniture seven years ago. I live in this thing, and unfortunately it broke during super bowl sunday :( Wife was happy, I wasn't... I called the team over at Fish and even though the warranty was up , they still sent out their service man Bob and he found a problem with the mechanism. He ordered the new part, came out and replaced it, then told me that I owed NOTHING! This kind of service needs to be raved about and I can't thank Fish enough. Definitely buying from again!!!
